Inspiring

I’m a pastor at a church, and sometimes it’s easy to lose sight of the individuals in a sea of faces. Known only to God are the giftings and callings He has placed on an individual’s life. And when that calling surfaces, we are amazed at the wisdom and plans of the Lord. Such was the case when a dear friend of mine, Christopher Swan, revealed a beautiful work of literature the Lord had laid on his heart. “Amos” is an amazing, and inspiring insight into the life of a key prophet in the Bible. Weaving the Biblical account together with the culture, land, and societal issues that surrounded the Prophet at that time brings context and understanding to his message and informs and inspires the heart of the reader. I have been immersed in the story and inspired by my brother’s gifting as the words leapt off the pages. I look forward to Christopher’s future efforts as the Spirit of God leads and directs his heart. Do I recommend this beautiful story to others? Absolutely!

Awesome!!!

It was so cool! I love to read and this was so visual it was like watching a movie at the same time. I really felt like I could see and experience what Amos was going through! It was so encouraging to me to continue to turn all things back to Lord.
